For all the "Dramma Junkies" out there.

Well, well after a short visit home I'm back in Schnitzel Land. lucky me.

I had a nice time back home, got to see old friends, got to ignore old friends and got to drink lots of Starbucks products. I must admitt I missed you, my beloved reader, like Zombies miss the taste of brains or like monkeys miss their off springs when they are away (I watched a documentary about monkeys in the plane on my way back).

While at home I thought and realized many things, which I'll elaborte on later but right now I'd like to talk to you about something that struck me like when I found out Super Mario was originally called "Mr. Video" (yes, he was!).

Are, some of us, dramma junkies?!

Let me explain, my puzzled visitor, doesn't it happen to you that you want something so much, so bad, you long and you dream about that CERTAIN something? ... either it is a person, a job, a feeling, a movie or even a HAMBURGER, whatever you happen to be infatuated with, and then that disturbing creature called 'FATE' slaps you in the face by actually... LETTING YOU HAVE IT.

Oh my Gawd! you might say, and right now you don't find what it is wrong with that but, after all that time longing something apparently forbidden to you and then having it... it happens, and prepare for the PLOT TWIST, not to be enough.

So it isn't enough, so you get bored and start wondering what attracted you to it in the first place... my question here is: do we need continuous complications and problems to be happy and entertained?!? just what is it that its so fascinating about something we can't have???

If we were able to live the life of our dreams where our biggest concern would be figuring out where we left our car keys, would we create dramma for ourselves to make it worth it?

I just don't quite get the thrill of the 'ups & downs' but it's there, as real as monkeys enjoying morning grooming.

What is it with the dramma that sometimes it can only be described in one word... 'addictive' ?

The Emotionally Crippled

Guten Tag, readers!

If you don't mind my globalized ways I'll be sticking to writting in English for a while.. just for the sake of getting more comments, you know how us bloggers suck on feedback like the French footbal team in the world cup

So I'd been thinking for a reasonable amount of days on a subject that has been unceremoniously freaking me out.

A considerable while ago I met this guy, the friend of a friend. I remember been high on caffeine enough that I blantly told my friend how much I liked her friend but something told me he was not exactly the best deal in the market out there for me (I'm a business student, Im bound to speak like this)

So she told me that she kind of saw it coming since he seemed to be "MY TYPE".

And now that has gotten me thinking... why? Because after a few months of something that can only be described with 3 letters ..."WTF", I found out this guy/creature from hell, was incredibly emotionally crippled. I don't want to bash him or anything, since I realized this is like any other dissability, you know? There's people who can't walk right, speak right or any other kind of impediments, some of them since birth! Has anyone actually stopped to analyze whether it is possible that you can be born with an emotional dissability? If so, should we give them special care and our seats on the bus? or should we run away because this is so bad it can become contagious? ... and well, putting aside all that clinical talk, how is THIS kind of guy "MY TYPE"?! it scared me a little bit that she was right. My type seem to be the unattainable.

So why should we follow 'types' anyway? If it seems not to work out, why are we still trying to date the same kind of persona? I noticed that by doing so, we are just putting replay on a story we've already seen and the ending will just keep getting worse and worse.

So maybe, my dearests, we are not meant to go with 'our types' but exactly the opposite way, then again it may not be what we want but what we need.

Is following a 'type' a part of our uncouncious programming or are we just desperate to change the ending of a story bound to fail?

when we are out of the equation

by any means do I mean to upset you, my young reader 2 people crowd (including myself)

But like Freddy Mercury sang 'It's a hard life' ... so better to embrace it and whine about it as long as it is still relevant.. sort of and people will care to read, sort of.

I guess a person must look out for themselves and not expect others to come save them. Never, expect others to come save you, even if cartoons say so... let me brake this to you, they are lying; sometimes, you just have to be strong enough to save yourself.

I'm not being gloomy about it, but have you ever found yourself looking at your life as if it was a movie, and you have your main characters, but then you realize how for certain of these characters you are just out of the equation? Then again, IM NOT BEING A MOOPY MOP. (whatever that might be)

I think we must be strong enough to realize we are a prop in our own movie and yes it is horrible and yes it is sad, and your main characters have their main characters, in which you are not included. You, have become my friend, "TREE #4".

I think the best option for us "TREES #4", is to be as grown upy as possible about it, you know, just limit yourself to cry until you fall asleep or drown in your own tears whatever happens first, put a gipsy curse on them for several generations, put detergent in their morning coffee and write a tell-all book. That will surely help!

No but, really I think one of the most difficult things for every human being with feelings is 'letting go' of something you desperately want, either is a boy, a job, a possesion, whatever the form it comes into. Reader, if that... 'entity' doesn't want you back, we must back off. We must want the best for them and just wait around, until we are somebody's main character.

Like Amy to Blake, like Dorian to Bassil, like Josephine to Napoleon, like Big to Carrie.

there's a great forest out there, full of trees like you and i, and from time to time you bump into your own kind, but sometimes you just dont.
